About J. Dylan White
J. Dylan White is a journalist from De Soto, Missouri, with vast amounts of experience in both digital news media and multimedia journalism for broadcast, bridging the gap between two mediums that are increasingly becoming converged in our digital age.

White’s goal as a media professional is to operate by the principles of honesty, integrity, truth and accuracy to produce quality content that restores the public’s trust in journalism.
Producing numerous video news packages and long-form articles, White has demonstrated his skills in written journalism, videography, on-camera delivery and photography.
White is managing editor of MBU Timeline, the student news network of MBU. He also manages the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for MBU Timeline and is an anchor for the weekly Timeline Broadcast.
Beginning in May 2021, White will work as an intern at Leader Publications, a weekly print newspaper publisher, in Festus, Missouri, to help bring local news to the residents of Jefferson County, Missouri.
Currently, White is completing his Bachelor of Science in broadcast media with journalism and English minors at Missouri Baptist University, receiving junior marshal honors.
White also has been active playing the trumpet in bands for the last decade, most recently as a member of MBU’s jazz, pep and concert bands.
When he is not writing or shooting video, White enjoys fishing, kayaking and cheering on the St. Louis Blues.
